Bayern Munich has set up an online book of condolence for fans following the death of Bundesliga record scorer Gerd Mueller.
The club said in a statement on Wednesday that the page at https://fcbayern.com/kondolenzbuch-gerd/ would allow supporters to say goodbye “in a personal way”.
The 1974 world champion died on Sunday at the age of 75 after suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Entries can be made until September 15. In addition, a physical book of condolence is available for visitors to the Bayern Museum at the Allianz Arena, where there is a special exhibition “Gerd Mueller: Goals for Eternity”.
According to the club, all entries to the digital and physical condolence books will be compiled together in a complete edition at a later date.
